Our Residents for 2025-6

Introducing three new Residents who will be part of the Lyn’s House community this year: Hetty, Alice and Amelia.

Hetty is a Durham graduate working for Jimmy’s, a homelessness charity here in Cambridge.

Alice is a languages graduate from North Yorkshire teaching at heritage School in Cambridge.

Amelia is a graduate of Corpus Christi College in Cambridge currently learning to be a builder.

Lyn’s House Residents commit to living in intentional, ecumenical community in our three-bedroom house: they seek to grow together, pray regularly together and share daily life – and are guided and supported in this by more experienced members of Lyn’s House.

They also commit themselves to being part of the wider Lyn’s House community, and take some responsibilities for helping to coordinate our regular gatherings.

We’re thrilled that Amelia, Alice and Hetty have felt drawn to relationship and community with people with intellectual disabilities and to being part of a community which seeks to welcome each person for who they are.

We’ve been delighted to welcome them and will be praying with and for them.

We pray we may all be open to God’s invitation to us as a community this year.
