On Sunday June 11th we celebrated our tenth anniversary in glorious sunshine – with almost 70 people gathered in the gardens outside the house! There were people from far and near: people who had been part of Lyn’s House from the very beginning, as well as lots of newer friends and supporters. We tried toContinue reading “We’re 10 Years Old!!”

Recent midweek meals
At the centre of our physical gathering together at Lyn’s House are our midweek meal groups. We have such a fun time altogether; cooking, eating, drinking, dancing, praying, laughing, and even jenga-ing. Here are some photos from our recent meals.
He did it!
And in a new personal best! We’re really grateful to John Tallamy for running in the Cambridge half marathon to help support Lyn’s House, There’s still time to donate to help him over the line with his fundraising target – just 9% short! Hope you don’t feel it too much tomorrow – and thank youContinue reading “He did it!”

Pictures of the drama below. Jesus’ friends are worried. Nobody knows how toContinue reading “February tea party”
January Tea Party
We began the Lent Term with a gathering indoors for our January Tea Party. We decorated some jam jars, prayed together to mark the New Year, and sang some of our familiar songs of blessing. We also bid farewell to Lakshmi, an integral member of the Lyn’s House community, and she embarks on a tourContinue reading “January Tea Party”
Christmas Party!
At the beginning of December, we met as a community to celebrate the end of our first term not majorly affected by the pandemic in two years. It was a joy to meet together, inside, to sing, and to chat and to think about the joy of the Christmas story. We designed Christmas cards, sangContinue reading “Christmas Party!”
