The charitable objects of the Cambridge Friendship Trust are:

TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES BY SUPPORTING A COMMUNITY INSPIRED BY THE TEACHINGS OF JEAN VANIER AND THE ETHOS OF THE INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF L’ARCHE COMMUNITIES; BY OFFERING FRIENDSHIP AND HOSPITALITY TO PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES; AND BY FOSTERING AND SUPPORTING ACADEMIC RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATING ALL USEFUL RESULTS.

Our Steering Group

The steering group meets regularly to oversee the practicalities of life in Lyn’s House. It consists of a number of Trustees, the Lyn’s House Residents and others elected to serve on the group, pictured below.
