We were thrilled to see one another in person after so many months, in the garden/orchard outside the house. The rain even held off for us! Everyone had something to say or show about how this recent lockdown has been. We laughed a lot and sang a song of thanks to God for the gift of our time together, and for each other. We said and signed the Lord’s Prayer. And we ate the picnics we’d brought.
These seem such simple things, but after months of only seeing each other on Zoom, there was such a sense of joy and appreciation of the gift of one another, and of our life together.
